(2009 / Sad Disco)
Oh, I'm coming around to see you
I'm whistling and smiling in the pouring rain
Oh, I'm coming aroung to see you
My head is floating hight in the fast laneShe said
I couldn't think of anything to say
(yeah yeah)
I couldn't think of anything to do
(anything to do)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)Oh, I'm coming around to get you
I'm the little silhouette drifting across your street
Oh, I'm longing to hold you
I'm whispering lovely word in the evening heatShe said
I couldn't think of anything to say
(yeah yeah)
I couldn't think of anything to do
(anything to do)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)I couldn't think of anything to say
(yeah yeah)
I couldn't think of anything to do
(anything to do)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)I couldn't think of anything to say
(yeah yeah)
I couldn't think of anything to do
(anything to do)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)I couldn't think of anything to say
(yeah yeah)
I couldn't think of anything to do
(anything to do)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)
Can you wait another day?
(wait another day)

(2009 / My Maudlin Career)
A half full moon in Mexico City I think of you
When I saw the Southern Cross I wished you had too
I wish my heart was as cold as the morning dew
But it's as warm as saxophones
And honey in the sun for you
I've been spending half the year
In a plane going up and down
You've been seeing other people from a nearby town
Been obsessing and getting depressed about us
Excess baggage and other stupid band stuff
I wish my heart was cold
But it's warmer than before
I wish my heart was as cold as the morning dew
But it's as warm as saxophones
And honey in the sun for you
When you said the veins in my left hand
Were shaped like a tree
Was that the very last time you really looked at me?
I'm in training to become as cold as ice
I'm determined to protect my feelings, to disguise
When I said I didn't love you I told you a lie
There no one above you although I try
Would you laugh at the time I spent calling your name
Over and over and over and over again?
I wish my heart was cold
But it's warmer than before
I wish my heart was as cold as the morning dew
But it's as warm as saxophones
And honey in the sun for you
The trouble is I got me close to hating me
When I wake up in the morning its your face I see
Where you once made me feel less afraid
You've got me pouring myself all over this page
I wish my heart was cold
But it's warmer than before
I wish my heart was as cold as the morning dew
But it's as warm as saxophones
And honey in the sun for you

(2009 / Curiouser)
There was a guy at my school when I was in high school
We'd ride side by side in the morning on our bicycles
Never even spoken or faced each other
But on the last hill we'd race each otherWhen we reached the racks we'd each go our own way
I wasn't in his classes, I didn't know his name
When we finally got to speak he just stared at his feet
And mumbled a sentence that ended with 'James'I was young and caught in the crowd
I didn't know then what I know now
I was dumb, and I was proud
And I'm sorry
If I could go back do it again
I'd be someone you could call friend
Please please believe that I'm sorryWell he was quite a big guy, kinda shy and quiet
When the kids called him weird he didn't try to deny it
Every lunchtime he'd spend walking by himself
Round the boundary of the grounds til he heard the bellWell one day I found him, joined him on his walk
We were silent for a while until we started to talk
I told him my family were fighting in court
He said his step-dad and him always foughtWe talked about music ? he was into punk
Told me all the bands that I liked were junk
I said I'd never heard the songs the sex pistols sang
I laughed back at him and then the bell rangI was young and caught in the crowd
I didn't know then what I know now
I was dumb, and I was proud
And I'm sorry
If I could go back do it again
I'd be someone you could call friend
Please please believe that I'm sorryIt was after school in the afternoon
The corridors were crowded as we came out of the rooms
Three guys I knew pushed him into the cement
Threw away his bag and said he had no friendsHe yelled that he did and he looked around
Tried getting up but they pushed him on down
That's when he saw me, called out my name
And I turned my back, and just walked awayI was young and caught in the crowd
I didn't know then what I know now
I was dumb, and I was proud
And I'm sorry
If I could go back do it again
I'd be someone you could call friend
Please please believe that I'm sorry
Please please believe that I'm sorry!
